thanksgiving

It's my second Thanksgiving in Canada. Last year my mother was here, her first visit to our new home, but the holiday timing was a coincidence.

It still doesn't feel like a holiday, but then, we rarely celebrated Thanksgiving in the US either. I'm thankful for more than I can ever express. I don't need a special day to remind me of that.

But it's lovely to have an extra day off, and if I'm smart, I'll force myself away from the photo project and go outside.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadian readers. Enjoy your day!
