spring is almost here

"It's time to break that cycle, and it needs to happen from the top down. That's why the truth needs to come out, however ugly the truth might be."

What ugly truth could Representative Tom Davis of Virginia be referring to? Abu Ghraib? Torture extraditions? Enron, Worldcom, Tyco? Wrong! It's steroid use in Major League Baseball.

What a waste of time.

Sunday night, April 3: Yankees vs. Red Sox on ESPN. Be there.

  1. And completely appreciated! Thanks so much. I don't know if I would have seen this. (Ironic, since MOMA is high on my must-do-again-before-leaving list - but for the permanent collection.)

    Yay, thanks!

  3. Glad to help. I checked the MoMA website, they are screening the films this weekend through till next Wednesday. I'm not familiar with any of the films on the schedule, although some of the directors and producers involved are quite well-known in Canada (Atom Egoyan and Bruce Macdonald, in particular).

  5. Rats! I probably won't be able to go to any - working all weekend (as I do) then busy early next week. Oh well. It was a nice thought.

I'm familiar with those filmmakers, too, especially Egoyan. I saw his interesting (though somewhat confused) film about the Armenian genocide.

It's funny that someone in Canada is giving me schedules of events in NYC! MOMA is three blocks from where I work on the weekends, at Rock Ctr.
